CAMERON CLARK
Executive Director
Cameron is the founder and Executive Director of Developing, Organizing Visions for Everyone (D.O.V.E), a non-profit to assist formerly incarcerated individuals to successfully reenter society by providing appropriate case management and support services.
Born and raised in Compton, CA, Cameron is one of four boys. At an early age he joined a gang and ultimately changed the course of his life. At 15 years old he was given a 16 year to life sentence as a result of gang violence. During his sentence at CA State Prison, Cameron was able to take advantage of the rehabilitative opportunities and classes where he received a business completion and was a part of an innovative group of 50 former lifers to become Drug and Alcohol Counselors credentialed by California Alcohol and Drug Addiction Counselors (CAADAC).

CARRIE GOODSPEED
Program Director
Carrie Goodspeed is an Oakland native and has lived and worked in most Bay Area counties. She has worked in many capacities as a service provider and homeless advocate, working with the marginalized population impacted by systems. Carrie has a passion for working in the community, bridging gaps and removing barriers for those experiencing disparities.
She understands the many layers of trauma and how it relates to human services, mental/behavioral health, substance use and incarceration. She recognizes that each circumstance may look different for individuals returning to stability
and believes that individualized assessment to treatment is necessary to address and meet the unique needs of individuals.
She brings an organic and holistic approach to treatment and recognizes there are various types of treatments that can achieve results and positive outcomes. D.O.V.E is making strides to address and meet the needs of the community. Community building is essential to people-building.

JONATHAN NEWSOME
Consultant
Jonathan Newsom is an experienced Executive Director and consultant specializing in non-profit organizations, community development, affordable housing and fund development strategies. He has over 25 years experience working for and with community-based non-profit corporations.
Jonathan was born and raised in Oakland, California and the oldest of six children. He attended California State University East Bay Hayward (1974–78) majoring in journalism and completed the UCLA Urban Studies Community Scholars Program in 1992-93.
In 1992 to 1993 he served as Program Coordinator for the Mayor Tom Bradley successful Neighbor-to-Neighbor Program implemented by the City of Los Angeles.

RODNEY CLARK
Service Connector
Rodney is originally from Compton, CA and was not an active gang member but was affiliated with gangs through his older brothers. Rodney is the youngest of the four brothers and has seen the generational trauma and pain inflicted on his family. Rodney has lived in Southern California for most of his life and raised his sons in Riverside, California.
Rodney has personal experiences with homelessness and the disparities unhoused individuals face on a daily basis. Rodney became incarcerated while homeless and through his brother’s advocacy, was released from prison and relocated to the Bay Area. Rodney has a background in driving and training Commercial A licensed trucks nationwide. He has a desire to contribute to the community by assisting others gain skills and training to enhance their opportunities in their career path.
